dare to live.

here’s a few things i dont understand.. first of all why is it that the second we hear about this kony 2012 stuff, and we watch the video that has gone viral, and people start showing an interest in the cause, that SO MANY OF YOU feel the need to be so negative about it. no one is asking you to support what these people are trying to accomplish, so why do you feel the need to hate on everyone that is. i understand there are two sides to every story, and some of you are just trying to ‘get the facts out there’ but really.. the negativity is really unnecessary. im seeing status’ about how the U.S government is to blame, and how its all fake and whatever other nonsense people feel the need to come up with. what i don’t understand is WHY you cant just be like oh hey you know, for whatever reason this group of people has taken the interest and the initiative to try and help these children to be free of this man, that has so long done so much harm to them, and so many others. what is so wrong with trying to help ? To me, the situation that was brought to my attention when i watched the Kony 2012 video was extremely saddening, to know that for years this man has gotten away with what he is doing. what i find more saddening is that people feel the need to make excuses for it, to say that because a week ago none of us cared, and in a week none of us will because this is just a phase and everyone is jumping on the bandwagon.. like what is that ? what kind of world do we live in, where we question and doubt the seriousness of situations like these.. 30,000+ children have been kidnapped, forced to kill other people, forced to do things they should never have to do, where most of them would rather die, and you’re going to try to sit here and tell me that i shouldn’t care, that the people who have brought this to my attention and who are trying to raise awareness and do something about it are wrong ? no. i dont think so. i dont care if you chose to support Kony 2012 or not.. but i really dont think its necessary to see the social media and everyone using it littering it with garbage trying to knock down something just because its so strong. do me a favour.. if you’ve read this far. save your negativity for someone else. i dont want to read comments and excuses for people trying to rationalize with me or explain themselves. i dont care. rant over. goodbye
